My objective is to create a nurturing environment where young disabled individuals can explore uncharted territories, discover their true selves, and cultivate the self-assurance needed to chase their dreams and turn them into reality.
This idea began when I was only ten. I was very much bullied not just other students, but also by my teachers. I was very bad at school work. This idea began when I was only ten. I was very much bullied not just other students, but also by my teachers. I was very bad at school work. I didn't understand alot of what was being said and the kids were too loud, and distracting. I was made fun of if I raised my hand. I stopped asking for help and pretended to get the material. I became increasingly frustrated and angry. After one terrible experience I had, my mom decided she would just home school me. I was a 9th grader with a 4th grade reading and writing level. My mom put me back in 4th grade. I worked hard, never taking a break, not a summer, christmas, or spring. (that was my choice). Year around I went to school until 2022, when I was 20 years old, I graduated. Through those years this idea only developed more and more. I am Autistic, have PDD, APD, and Frontal Lobe Brain Damage caused by a symptom of my Autism. I have experience much more than I have shared here. Experiences I want to help other neurodivergent kids, either avoid or navigate., as they grow, mature, and reach adulthood.
Currently, I am the only staff member. I do have a couple of volunteers assisting me with social media and the website. Many opportunities will present themselves for those that want to be part of this exciting adventure as we continue to grow and develop.
