My vision is to have a safe place for Primarily, but not limited to, Autistic Students to ask for help from their peers and trusted adults on their studies. A place to grow relationships and bonds.
My goal is to also provide young people a place to try new things, to get a better sense of who they want to be and the confidence to pursue their goals and achieve them.
- My plan is to have an indoor and outdoor rec area.
- Courses in different career avenues, (ie, wood working, auto, IT, photography, retail, general maintenance... to name a couple.)
- To form a publishing company for disabled authors with in house editors and printing.
- To educate about agriculture and home grown and raised food sources for self preservation
- To open a restaurant to teach the trade of money, cooking, service, customer care, and concentration
- Each one of these places, publishing company, restaurant..etc will all be places of employment for the disabled with real pay at competitive rates, but with hands on skill teaching and resume building so they can go out and find employment further in the future
- Tutoring stations where there will be peer on peer assistance, with a main instructor presiding over the area in case additional help is needed.
- My hope is to have monthly get togethers that allow the community to get involved. Just sensory sensitive fun, games, and refreshments.
I can not do this on my own. I do not have the funds. I do have a legal company chosen to help me get the paperwork together. A family member helping with the Website. A registered agent making sure I keep within the state laws and board members are being chosen and appointed who all weigh in on big decisions. This is a big undertaking.
It takes donations from many different sources including possibly you to make something like this become a reality.
Would you consider donating to my Non-Profit?
